Milton Nomads and Worle Rangers

Milton Nomads joins up with Worle Rangers

Milton Nomads and Worle Rangers have merged together to create a pathway into adult football for under-16s.

Nomads, who were established in 1969, chairman James Stroud and Secretary Alan Alder and members of the youngest, under-7s, and oldest, under-16s, age-groups welcomed Dave Knight, Chairman of Worle Rangers and two of their new 16-year-old players from the team to Baytree to officially forge an exciting new footballing relationship.

Alan Alder said: “Nomads are proud to hold 2-star England Football Accreditation, not only ensuring our on-going viability but also providing for future generations of adult player by linking up with Worle Rangers for those wishing to progress beyond junior football”.

Worle Rangers, who were formed in 2009, proudly run three Saturday afternoon teams, plus a Sunday Vets side.

"We at Worle Rangers were delighted to accept Nomads' approach to form official links, this was something we had been looking to do with the right club for a few years," Knight added.

"Milton Nomads are a superb fit and I look forward to working with James, Alan and the Nomads coaches in order to put our combined ideas together to provide confidence and support for Nomads players as they look to transition from junior football and into the adult game".
